Request a Recycling Cart

Single-family through four-unit households receive one 65-gallon recycling cart, called the U-CART, at no additional cost.

Submit the U-CART request form, or call the recycling coordinator at 217-384-2302 to request a U-CART.

If you move, please remember to leave the empty U-CART for future residents!

The Public Works front desk is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., excluding holidays.
