Market at the Square

Salsa Kit vegetables available at the Market; peppers and tomatoes

Urbana’s Market at the Square, a mainstay of our community’s Saturday morning activities since 1979, connects the community with local food growers and producers, strengthens our local food economy, provides access to local artisans, and serves as a community gathering place. The Market is home to over 150 vendors selling Illinois-grown produce, plants and flowers, and farm products such as meat, cheeses, eggs, honey, Illinois wine, and fresh baked goods. There is also a wide variety of handmade local arts and crafts for sale and numerous food trucks producing a variety of menu items sure to satisfy any palate.

The Market at the Square is open from 7 a.m. to noon every Saturday, from the first Saturday of May to the last Saturday of October (rain or shine). You can find us on the corner of East Illinois Street and South Vine Street in Downtown Urbana.
